"This is not going to go the way you think". Wow, Luke was not kidding.  Today on GeekFest Rants, Carlos takes a first look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi.  Probably the most divisive Star Wars film so far.

We will go scene by scene and pick apart every wonderful and awful thing about the latest entry in the Star Wars saga.  Is this film faithful to the original Lucas vision or even The Force Awakens?

Where will this go next?  Where does it stand among all other Star Wars films?  Is this the greatest one ever or the worse one?  And keep in mind, we only saw it once.

Today on GeekFest Rants we celebrate everything Close Encounters of the Third Kind in comic book and Making-of books form.  Join Carlos as he goes back into his first viewing of the film and his most recent 40th Anniversary re-release.  Plus we compare the Marvel comic book adaptation to the actual film.

Then we review three books on the making-of this classic sci-fi film:  CE3K The Visual History, CE3K Diary, and CE3K Production Design Scrapbook.  And remember, "I know this. I know what this is! This means something. This is important."
