One day in the distant future, when everyone will get around in flying cars, movies will be watched with LASERS.  Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves.  We might not have flying cars but the home video industry runs on Lasers.  Actually it has been for almost 40 years.  And it all started with Laserdiscs.

It's time for Posters of the Month:  Today at GeekFest Rants, Carlos will profile three new genre posters.  The first Star Wars Fan Club exclusive McQuarrie poster, the Star Wars children immunization poster, and the 2001: A Space Odyssey bathroom instructions poster. 

Then we take a look at two of the biggest rivals of the Star Wars Kenner figure line, Mattel's Masters of the Universe and Kenner's G.I Joe. 

We purchased two figures to represent those lines from the newly recreated vintage style assortment.

In this episode, GV explains why he's EXTREMELY jubilant, takes a look at the brand new World's Famous ISeeRobots Show, buys a baseball hat on air, and talks about life lessons learned from two computer games: The Sims and Extreme Warfare Revenge.

Hey kids! Let's dig back into the super rich history of Geekfest Rants! This is one of my favorite episodes from the past.. Ep.230 Attack Of The Twelve Backs. It's a very indepth look at the 1st wave of Kenner Star Wars Figures!.

It all began with the 12-Backs, the first 12 Star Wars action figures released in 1978.  While the movie overtook our lives in the summer of 1977, the action figure line overtook our wallets a year later.

Hey kids. Only one more week till the big release of the all the ISR Joint.. World Famous but until then how about one more Classic Episode from the past. This is a good one man, there is some Iceberg and Emily, Some Hobbes and Shaw talk and a ton of other good stuff.. Give it a listen.. Here is what I had to say at the time....

This week on the show we start off with a conversation between me, Emily and Iceberg about Food, why eating is gross and my desire for a Taco Pill which Emily actually has! It's wild and not to be missed... 

 

From there we talk about a movie I saw called Hobbes and Shaw. It's the latest in the Fast and Furious series, well it's a spin-off but still.

 

For the main event of the show I'm gonna tell you guys all about my day as a Flea Market Vendor. It was pretty fun and something I recommend to anyone interested. It's wild to be on the other side of the table ya know... 

 

In the last segment I talk about depressive tunnels and toys and make another trip to The Last Record Store.. It's a great time. At the end I PLEAD with you guys to share the show on Facebook or Twitter.. Dudes, it's really important... 

In this episode GV reviews two cereal variety packs he tried recently, then talks the Netflix Castlevania show, Castlevania video games, his thoughts on Vampire lore, and probably too much more.

The topic for this episode? Comic Stores. Yep, this is the one where I go in-depth into my comic book collecting history. It's super fun and also Super Informative. Over the course of the show we take a look at all of the comic shops here in lovely Santa Rosa California and the surrounding areas.

 

There are stories about Mr. T, this is one of my best stories so make sure to give it a listen. There are tales of my early days in SR as well as a story about the time I met comic book legend, Jim lee. 

 

It's a super fun episode and at just over 2 hours long is the longest episode of anything that I have recorded to date. I don't know if that is good or bad.

And finally we will compare the excellent film The Martian to the source book by Andy Weir.  Which one do you think is better?

Hey kids. While I'm away Walking The Earth trying to discover myself again in a Post Got That Shot World we have another super fun CERP.... This time around we're gonna take a listen to the first time that Hollywood Celeb Johnny 5 ever called into the show. Him and A.B Silver both appear. It's really a historic episode! Hey kids! Thanks for stopping by. We have a super fun show ahead of us this week. We start off with a talk A.B Silver about his movie project and then move onto a celebrity guest who I never thought that we'd be able to get on the show! It was amazing.

 

From there we have a review of two mediocre action movies that I saw last week.. Den Of Thieves and the latest Liam Neeson joint, The Commuter. They were both all right. I don't know, tune in for all the details.

 

For The Main Event of the show we take a look at the latest dude to enter the CW DC Comics Universe.. Black Lightning. We talk his origins, his powers, the show and his appearance on SNL at Superman's Funeral. It's a ton of fun!

Today on GeekFest Rants we dive into horror and crime.  Join Carlos as he reviews the brand new Prime anthology series, Them: Covenant.  This show combines the horror of 1950s racism with a supernatural twist.  Then we take a turn to the show that made Pedro Pascal a star (aside from Game of Thrones) in the crime genre with Narcos.  Here they chronicle the Colombian drug wars from the 70s to the 90s.

On this episode, GV talks about having nothing to talk about, recounts a recent trip to McDonalds, and presents an installment of MORTIFYING TALES focused on childhood lying.

Well guys, this is it. The end of the line as far as The Stuck At Home Saga. I've Got That Shot and it was a very pleasant experience overall but let's talk about the show...

We start off with some this and that and then open up a baseball card which I really like. Talk some Japanese baseball and then take questions from you guys.
