Hey kids! This time around on Reel Wisdom we take a look at the 2nd film in the 3rd trilogy of Star Wars Films, The Last Jedi. I really dug this flick and thought that there was lot of wisdom contained in the story which was penned by Rian Johnson who directed and wrote one of my favorite movies, a flick called Brick.
In the scene that we are going to listen to this time around Yoda breaks down a few important tidbits of learning to good old Luke Skywalker about living in the moment and about learning from our mistakes. From there I talk a bit about what he said to Luke and what I think that he means when he says "We are what they grow beyond".

Today on GeekFest Rants, Carlos explores the virtual reality world of Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire. This is a virtual reality experience that brings you into an undercover mission to steal the Empire's new secret weapon. Virtual reality entertainment is new to us so you'll get a newbie's perspective on it.
Then we dive into vintage Star Wars action figure carrying cases. The good, the bad, and the strange. From simple suitcase designs to elaborate space ship shaped cases, we'll cover them all.

Today on GeekFest Rants we are looking at two very different films. One is the documentary Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley’s Island of Dr. Moreau, the story of a film that did not get made. However, this story is better than the actual film that was made. The other is Mother!, the latest mind-bender from Darren Aronofsky. Which means, as a film viewer, you will have some homework to do after watching the film.
Then we lighten things up with the original Kenner 12 inch doll of Indiana Jones from Raiders of the lost Ark. Another Holy Grail item Carlos can now cross off his toy collecting list.

The Hey kids. This week we have something super fun! An all new/all exciting episode of The Audio Handbook Of The Marvel Universe! This time around we are going to take a look at The Immortal Iron Fist, Danny Rand.
I am a huge fan of Iron Fist but have to admit that his origin was something that I was not an expert in. I knew some of the rough details but making this episode helped me to fill in some of the gaps that I had. I feel like I know Danny Much better now..
There are ninjas, and Kung-Fu and Fists made of Iron and all sorts of other fun things contained within! It's a super fun episode and I hope that you have a good time checking it out while also leaving a bit more enlightened on the subject of The Lost City of Kun-Lun and Kung-Fu stuff in general.

Hey kids! This week we have a little something different. An All New Episode of.. This Boring Life, where every episode we will explore The Secret Origin Of IseeRobots. One Topic At A Time. The topic for this episode? My early days as a young sprat in the great state of Illinois.
On this episode we take a look at my elementary school, Harnew, stores we used to shop at, things I used to do and all sorts of stuff like that.
This was really fun for me to record once I started the memories really started to flow. I don't think about Illinois that much but once I did, MAN! The thoughts started coming. I didn't realize how much those early days turned me into the person I am today until I started looking back.

Today on GeekFest Rants we go from comic book heroes to sci-fi thriller. Join Carlos as he reviews the current billion dollar Marvel hit, Black Panther and the mind bending Annihilation.
Two different films but perfect for our genre loving interests.
With Black Panther we get a new character that promises to become a leader in future Marvel films. Plus with Annihilation we get another though provoking film from the maker of Ex Machina.
